McCarthy Architecture is working closely with Firewheel Bible Fellowship to restore and improve an abandoned and unfinished structure that has long been an eyesore for their community. McCarthy Architecture used computer modeling to produce renderings and animations that assisted with the Fellowship's capitol campaign and has also allowed us to visually convey project concepts and ideas to the client so they can understand proposed spaces their relationship to the rest of the program as well as have a better idea of how the finished project will look and feel. As the Construction Documents near completion, we are preparing to break ground soon.

McCarthy Architecture was selected to assist the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department renovate an aging and out dated recreational facility in Ridgewood Park. The City of Dallas desired to utilize the interior space more efficiently, make the facility accessible for the entire community and bring more life into the dated 60’s era structure on a very strict bond budget.
The interior has been reprogrammed to meet the expanded requirements outlined by the City to allow for the most efficient functionality. Materials have been selected for minimal maintenance and durability in this high traffic environment. When complete, Ridgewood Recreational Center will have new offices, a workout room, classrooms, as well as a renovated meeting room, lobby, commercial grade kitchen and accessible restrooms. The addition and refinement of these amenities ensure that the community will enjoy the facility for several years.
