Project Description:
McCarthy Architecture was commissioned by Saint Philips the Apostle Catholic Church to create a master plan which included a Sanctuary for 1,200 and a new family life / education building. The church currently meets in an existing facility which also accommodates their school. A number of adjoining residential properties are owned by the church and were effectively used for an efficient parking design that would maximize the seating capacity for their new sanctuary. Considerations for the master plan also included a new fire line loop and fire lanes that would sufficiently give protection to the expanded campus.
Size: 42,500 square feet
Firm's Role: Master Planning
