Progress continues at the new recreational facility for Rayburn Electric Co-Op in Rockwall, Texas. Designed by McCarthy Architecture, the project includes indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, a full-size basketball court, and supporting amenities to create a versatile, community-centered compound.

Since our last update, the building exterior has been completed with masonry and metal panel finishes, while interior work is well underway. Large windows bring abundant natural light into the gymnasium space, highlighting its open and flexible layout. The interior is currently in the construction phase with mechanical, electrical, and finishes being installed.

Outside, the covered basketball court is taking shape with structural framing and backboards in place, offering a dedicated space for year-round play. Site work and landscaping are also progressing, with new sod and pathways beginning to define the overall campus layout.

We look forward to sharing the next stage of progress as this recreational facility nears completion and prepares to welcome employees and community members alike.
