What began as a vision for connection and recreation is now just steps away from becoming a reality. The new Rayburn Electric Co Op Recreational Facility in Rockwall is entering its final stage, with finishing touches bringing the space to life.

Designed by McCarthy Architecture, the project includes indoor pickleball courts and a covered a full size basketball court that will welcome year round activity once complete. The bright, open design brings in abundant natural light through large windows, creating an inviting space that feels both modern and comfortable.

Exterior work is complete, and the interior courts are now finished with surfacing, lighting, and final details underway. Landscaping and site improvements tie the building beautifully into the surrounding campus, setting the stage for its upcoming completion.

Soon, what started as a construction site will officially become a gathering place built for movement, teamwork, and community connection.
