Out in the rugged expanse of West Texas, we are proud to introduce the Fort Davis Residence. This project is a multi-structure family compound currently moving from the drawing board to reality. This project is deeply rooted in its unique regional context, drawing direct architectural cues from the historic 1850s military officer quarters that define the local heritage.

By closely studying the architectural vernacular of that era, our design honors the past through a careful selection of materials and forms. The structures will feature a striking, rustic red brick palette and masonry detailing paired with the deep, expansive porches characteristic of the historic frontier quarters. These generous overhangs are not merely a nod to tradition; they serve a vital functional purpose, providing essential shade, mitigating the intense West Texas sun, and blurring the line between indoor comfort and the vast desert landscape.
While the project pays rigorous respect to its historic setting, it is entirely envisioned as a sanctuary for modern living. Beneath the timeless exterior lies an open layout optimized for a multi-generational family, prioritizing fluid spatial transitions and high-performance functionality. It balances a grounded, historic presence with the practicality of a West Texas ranch.
